UV Grade Fused Silica Plano-Convex Lenses
Plano-Convex Lenses is a spherical lenses with one flat surface and one convex surface with a positive focal length. The PCX lenses are designed for infinite conjugate (parallel light) use or simple imaging in non-critical applications. These optic lenses are ideal for all-purpose focusing elements.
CLZ Optical Co., Ltd. manufacturing UV Grade Fused Silica plano-convex lenses with high performance. Our plano-convex lenses are assure the surface accuracy with ZYGO Verifire Interferometer - 4". The lenses are precision manufactured using UV grade synthetic fused silica. We can provide coatings with antireflective coated on both faces with multilayer AR for 248-400nm use. However UV grade fused silica can be used efficiently at 185nm transmitting over 85%.

N-BK7 plano-convex lenses are made of high-grade glass and offer excellent optical clarity and high durability. The plano-convex lenses made from N-BK7 have high uniformity and low impurity content. This eliminates light scattering, shadows and distortions associated with other lenses. Fused silica plano-convex lenses are designed for extended wavelength applications and are made of advanced optical glass materials that provide excellent optical uniformity and low dispersion. Because of their excellent transmission, they are often used in infrared imaging applications.
Plano-convex lenses also have a high transmittance of no less than 500 nm. This is a very important factor, as transmittance is an important factor in optical performance.
